Liliana serves as TRIO Sophomore Student Advisor. She’s from Dallas, Texas and is an SMU alumni. She’s happy to talk to you about anything college related! “As a McNair scholar at SMU, I was a part of a first generation program like the TRIO Scholars that helped me get the chance to present research as an undergrad and further prepared me for grad school. My McNair Program Manager, Jackie Lowrey, taught me that I am allowed to achieve the dream to go to grad school and beyond. I find that sometimes life can be a full circle. I am happy to serve in TRIO and am excited for what this year brings!”
